Is is true that low fat foods will really make you fat?
Our bodies are very smart and will adjust quickly when we start cutting our calories, so instead of losing weight, or getting the flat belly that we want, we are actually storing fat to use later for energy.
The reason that ALL diet programs will tell you to combine exercise with the diet is to force the body to use the stored fat for the energy it needs to exercise and tone the muscle. Toned muscle burns more fat even when you are just sitting and reading a book.
Diet pills are suppose to speed the metabolism to give you the energy to exercise and burn the calories, unfortunately few use them this way and don't know the secrets of calorie shifting. Instead they just try to starve themselves which only succeeds in running down your immune system and storing more fat.
I am sure that you have all hit the frustrating "plateau syndrome" when on a flat belly diet, an exercise regime or any diet for that matter. You know the one, where you are not losing any more in your dieting and exercise programs. God I hate that. No matter how many calories you cut and no matter how many crunches you do, you cannot lose another pound.
There is a reason for this.
This is because your body has figured out how many calories it needs to keep you alive and will not give up any more. It will figure out what times of day you are going to exercise and what you are going to eat and then adjust itself to it. You body is truly an amazing machine.
Former President George W. Bush didn't help matters much while he was in office. Thanks to that idiot we no longer have the truth in advertising that some of us had fought so hard to get for healthy food products.
Advertisers and food processing companies are now allowed to say "all natural" when it isn't. They are allowed to say "0" calories when it is full of sugar and they fool you with "fat free" or "no fat" by adding tons of sugar, harmful chemical additives, harmful sugar alternatives, and salt to make up for the loss of flavor by removing the "fat". So no, they are not fat free and they are very unhealthy on top of that.
Advertisers will print on the packaging "no sugar" and then load it up with sugar substitutes that are highly toxic and mixed with..... you got it - SUGAR!. Then the products are labeled "all natural, no preservatives added". They are big fat liars so beware. Learn to read the labels before buying!
Exercise routines done the same way every day will not help you lose either. You must mix that up the same way you mix up your food. Your body again, is a highly intelligent machine that will adjust quickly to your routines.
Fool the Body to Get Rid of Belly Fat
Calorie shifting is one way as it helps people effectively lose huge amounts of weight in small amounts of time (think up to 13 pounds in a week).
Before you think fad diet read on to see why it works so well:
By switching up calories, a dieter’s body can never figure out how many calories are going to be coming in to feed it (which is the opposite of low calorie and low carb eating plans), and therefore it can never plateau.
With the low calorie diet (which most of it isn't by the way) and low carb diets, the body figures out what you are doing and will only burn the amount of calories that it thinks you need for energy and that is all, not a pound more.
The truth about calorie shifting is that it MAKES people have cheat days to confuse the body. Without them the diet wouldn't be effective.
This is because our bodies are made to eat this way. Back in caveman days our ancestors would starve for almost weeks at a time while out looking for food. When they had the chance to eat, they would eat as much as they could in preparation for the next bout of hunger. Your physical system still operates this way.
Cheat days are similar to the days that our ancestors fasted. Because the metabolism never expects these days, it can never adjust to a certain way of eating, and the body is literally forced to continue dropping unwanted pounds.
Because people get to have these cheat days where they can literally eat anything they want, psychologists heartily recommend this diet. They love this type of diet because dieters don't need to feel deprived or malnourished. Doctors love it because it’s a natural way to lose weight without people having to deprive themselves of nutrients, or selective food groups,
